SALFORD Reds bosses insist that new signing Mark Henry is a top class player who will take Super League by storm.

The 27-year-old utility back, who is a teammate of fellow recent Reds recruit Ray Cashmere at NRL club North Queensland Cowboys, has penned a two-year contract with Salford this week.

SALFORD coach Shaun McRae says that the Reds will need to be at their best if they are to win their Grand Final Eliminator with Celtic Crusaders next Thursday, September 11, kick-off 7.30pm.

SALFORD City Reds have confirmed that long serving prop Paul Highton, Mat Gardner, Andrew Brocklehurst, Andy Ballard, Chris Borgese, Daley Williams and Leon Walker will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
