LITTLE Hulton made it two wins from as many matches in the fifth division of the Lancashire GMC Super League.

They followed up a 9-1 win against Bolton Borough with a 6-4 victory at Radcliffe on Sunday, October 2.

Alan Hodgson hit a maximum and Stuart Wilmott fired in a 177.

They were accompanied in the winners' enclosure by Bert Millership, Dave Collins, Anthony Hamer and Gary Morris.

Swinton lost their fourth division match with High Crompton 6-4.

The consolation points came via Pete Brown, Mike Thomas, Andy Chase and Tommy Swindells, who hit two 17-darters.

Swinton Ladies supplied the shock of the week by beating champions Bolton 6-2.

Their super six were Dawn Shaw, Gillian Whitworth, Olive Byamukama, Michaela Shaw, Ann-Marie Millership and Mel Lomax.

A brilliant 13-darter from Steve Field was the highlight of the Swinton 501 League programme.

His chuck was a consolation in Moorside Farm's 6-3 defeat to Morning Star, who had a maximum via Bert Millership.

Borough B defeated Farmers by the same score with the aid of a 180 from Pete Woodcock and two 17-dart wins from Steve Walters.

Farmers' Alan Royle also hit a 180.

On the log-end Manchester board, Park Hotel looked to be on course for their first Joseph Holts Eccles League victory of the season when they led Grapes 3-2.

But wins from Brian McMaster and Jimmy South scuppered their hopes.

White Lion B and Bird In Hand are also still awaiting their first success.
