JAMIE Moore demolished David Walker to successfully defend his British title and admitted: "I'm bored!"

The light middleweight defused 'Kid Dynamite' in just four rounds with a clinical display at the George Carnall Leisure Centre on Friday night.

And now the 26-year-old believes he is ready to step up in class and challenge for European and World titles.

"I'm a bit bored of this," said the Salford ace, who returned to the ring for the first time since defeating arch-rival Michael Jones in an epic clash in July.

"I like the thrill of boxing and the needle, like in the Jones fight, but I'm not getting it at this level.

"I've proved myself at this level and I need to make that step up in class to get that extra buzz."

Moore could now look to challenge European champion Sergei Dzindziruk from the Ukraine.

He added: "Hopefully, before Christmas, I can have a European title shot or fight someone on the fringe of the top 10."

Walker came into the fight with an impressive record of just two defeats in 23 fights.

But Moore made light work of the Sidcup fighter with a virtually punch-perfect display. From the first round the southpaw picked off Walker at will, though he received a cut above his eye after a clash of heads in the second.

Moore stepped up his work rate in the third and a thudding left hand to the body saw the southerner take a standing eight count on the bell.

And just 40 seconds into the fourth, Moore sent his opponent crashing to the canvas with a succession of clubbing left hooks and the referee stopped the contest.
