TOMMY Swindells showed his class in the Swinton 501 League by striking a brilliant 11-darter in Swinton Legion's 9-0 win against Cricketers.

White Lion's Nicholas Shaw hit a 180 but his side lost to second division rivals Staff of Life B.

Tommy Brookes fired in a 180 in Salford Monday League leaders Weaste Cons Club' 7-2 victory over Ashley Brook.

The Dover beat Pendleton Legion by the same score with the help of a maximum from Ritchie Bambrick.

The closest encounter came at Flemish Weaver where honours ended even with St Boniface Social Club.

Derek Savage hit a 12-darter in second-placed Priory's 5-2 Salford VIP League win against Cheetham Hill Cricket Club.

The best throw for a long time in any league came at the Union, where the home side's Tommy Hough raced around the long-end in eight arrows.

It is easily the best individual win recorded in the Joseph Holts Eccles League and it helped his side beat Ellesmere, Winton.
