CHURCH Inn stunned Salford Regent Log-End League leaders Prestwich Libs with a resounding 6-1 success.

The result enabled Waggon and Horses to move within half a point of top spot with a 7-0 demolition job on Crumpsall.

The Priory secured third spot by edging out Dover. Sheffield took the decider.

Tom Hough's last-gasp win gave Union victory in their Joseph Holts Eccles League game against Royal Oak.

Swinton 501 League first division leaders Swinton Royal British Legion fell to a rare defeat. Fourth-placed Folly Club were assisted by two 180s by Brian Everall and one from Tony Griffin.

Lord Nelson beat Morning Star 5-4.

Nelson's Peter Walker won in 17 darts and Star's Dawn Shaw fired in a 180.

Steve Field's 15-arrow game was the best performance of the week but it failed to prevent his Moorside Farm outfit from losing to White Swan.

The Duke of York reached the final of the Cheetham Hill and District League's Knockout competition with a 5-2 success against Clough Hotel. They will play Pleasant in the final on May 17.

Salford Monday League table-toppers Weaste Con Club thrashed Stowell Spire 8-1 and Ashley Brook beat Dover 7-2.
