DARREN Brookes hit a 180 and Tommy Swindells a 16-darter as Swinton drew their Lancashire GMC Super League match with Colne 5-5. Andy Chase, Andy Gourlay and Tony Green were the other winners last Sunday.

Little Hulton lost 7-3 to Darcy Lever, despite the efforts of Stuart Wilmott, Harry Blakestone and Richard Higson. Swinton ladies went down 5-3 to Milnrow, Gillian Whitworth, Ann-Marie Millership and Michaela Shaw the winners.

Staff of Life A went to the top of the Swinton 501 League's first division with a 6-2 and a set win against previous leaders Swinton Legion. Dave Brooks hit a 130 check-out for the Staff, while Gary Roberts struck a maximum for the losers.

There were two 180s from Mike Grimshaw as his Farmers Arms defeated Swinton Con Club A 8-1 and a 15-darter from Bert Millership in Morning Star's 7-2 win at Borough Social Club.

Lee Daley hit a 16-arrow leg in the drawn match between his Moorside Farm and the Moorside. Richard Higson struck two maximums for title-chasing Duke's Gate in the Little Hulton 501 League. They beat rivals Cyn's Tavern whose Harry Blakestone threw a 180.

Derek Roberts hit a 180 and team-mate Steve Greenalgh a 135 check-out as Walkden Legion beat Cuemaster 5-2.
