Packing a punch

LITTLE Hulton Thai boxing duo Christopher Goodall and Jennifer Harrison showed they packed big punches to become North West Schools champions.

Christopher, 13, and Jennifer, 10, won the prestigious International Muay Thai Kick Organisation titles in their 37-40kg and 20-30 kg weight categories.

The pair took part in the inter-club competition at Luksit Thai Boxing Club in Seddon Street Mill, where they both train.

"It's nice to see the dedicated children winning their way to the top," said Brian Goodall, an instructor at the Luksit club. We were very impressed with the determination of Christopher and Jennifer, and also all the other juniors who train at Little Hulton Gym."

This year the club, which teaches a variety of martial arts, has staged 25 inter-fights and shows.
