New boys to help with Forever Reds

28/11/2002

NEW signings Cliff Beverley and Radney Bowker will be present at a special meeting of Forever Reds tonight (Thursday).

Fundraising ideas will be discussed and all fans are welcome to attend at the Willows Variety Centre from 7pm.

Membership to the 1,000 club has exceeded expectations, and anyone who is interested is urged to act fast says Forever Reds spokesperson Danny Gray. He told us: "The response has been fantastic, it shouldn't be long before all places are sold."

Entry into the 'club' costs £100, which can be paid in instalments, and will include a free T-shirt, badge and access to an exclusive bar at the Willows. All the money raised will go towards the £150,000 target set by Forever Reds last month.

The first fundraising date for Reds fans - and soap fans - to pencil in their diary should be March 26 when Coronation Street meet Brookside in a football match to raise cash for Salford.
