Youngsters learning 'samba' soccer

IT'S soccer samba-style in Little Hulton and the girls are going Brazil nuts for it!

Following in the footsteps of Careca, Ronaldo, Jairzinho, Zico and Pele, boys and girls at Peel Hall Little Hulton United are learning 'futebol de salao' - a special form of football training aimed at close control and balance.

Under the watchful eyes of Brian Leech, head coach of Bolton Brazilian Soccer Schools, the club trains boys and girls aged five to 15. All coaches at the club are trained to FA standard.

The squad meets on Tuesdays at Peel Hall School in Little Hulton between 6pm and 8pm. Anyone interested can contact Brian on 281-9720.
