Tournament's hand of friendship

THE NATIONAL In-line Hockey League will host a tournament for the Spirit of Friendship Festival in Ordsall during the Commonwealth Games.

The NIHL, along with its' sister league, the Greater Manchester In-Line Hockey League, are currently in the process of selecting representative teams to take part in the tournament.

The tournament is scheduled to take place this weekend at two venues in Salford, Ordsall Leisure Centre and Salford University and will be open to teams from u12s to seniors from all over the UK.

The NIHL's Ordsall Challenge Cup provided some excellent hockey over the last month. Winners and runners up were: (u12s) Chaddy Wildsharks and Walkden Cobras, (u14s) Walkden Cobras and Chaddy Wildsharks, (u16s) Chaddy Wildsharks and Glossopdale Devils, (u18s) Glossopdale Devils and Salford Pirates, (over 18s) Tour-troopers and Glossopdale Devils.
