Hughes and Roach miss out for Lions

SWINTON coach Tony Humphries has named his squad for Sunday's crunch match against NFP leaders Huddersfield.

The bad news for Lions fans is that in-form full back Adam Hughes, who damaged knee ligaments against Widnes last weekend, has been ruled out, along with winger Jason Roach.

Humphries has drafted youngster Wayne English in at number one and Ade Mead on the flank.

The squad in full is: English, Mike Woods, Mick Nanyn, Hugh Thorpe, Mead, Karl Fitzpatrick, Craig Dean, Andy Leathem, Rob Barraclough, Lee Hansen, Phil Cushion, Al Shea, Dale Holdstock; subs - Rob Gallagher, Anthony Murray, Jon Neill, Craig Wingfield.
