Coming Orr is he staying?

4/ 8/2005

SALFORD boss Karl Harrison hasn't ruled out a move to strengthen his Engage Super League squad following the shock decision by Cliff Beverley to retire at the end of the season.

But although the Reds have been linked with a move for Wigan's Danny Orr, seen as a perfect replacement at half-back, Harrison has been quick to play down speculation linking Orr with the club.

"We are in the market for good players, we always are, but Danny Orr is a contracted player," said Harrison. "I think he's still got two years to run on his contract with Wigan, so for the moment I can't see him coming to Salford.

"If he became available then we might be interested, but there's always going to be rumours linking us with good players."

The Reds have also been linked with a move for Widnes centre Aaron Moule, but Harrison again put paid to any speculation linking the player with the club.

Harrison added: "We are looking around for new players, but there's nothing happening with a move at the moment."
