Five nominations

SALFORD City Reds have five nominations for The Co-operative National League Awards – more than any other club.

Shaun McRae has been shortlisted in the National League One coach of the year category, prop forward Craig Stapleton and utility back John Wilshere are in the running for the League One player of the year prize, Richie Myler and his fellow half back Stefan Ratchford have been nominated for the League One young player of the year award and the winners will be unveiled at an awards ceremony at Elland Road, Leeds, on Tuesday night, September 23.
