Time to make amends

SALFORD Reds coach Shaun McRae says that Sunday’s cup final represents an ideal opportunity for his players to start making amends for last year’s relegation from Super League.

Dropping out of the top flight on the back of a host of disappointing performances was a crushing blow to the Willows club. And McRae said: "Sunday’s Northern Rail Cup final is so important for many reasons. But, for me, the main thing is that it is a great opportunity to instil more of a feel-good factor at the club.

   Certainly attitude and motivation will play a large part in the "final". However if Salford are "on' they should leave the field with the cup in hand. Jim Shelton
