Swinton coach demands a full 80
10/ 4/2008
SWINTON Lions coach Paul Kidd is looking for his side to put in a ‘complete performance’ as they take on London Skolars at Sedgley Park on Sunday.
Kidd says his side have only played well for 40 minutes in each of the last three games and he is looking for them to extend that to the full 80 as the Lions take on National League Two’s bottom side.
Kidd said: "It’s hard to put a finger on why they haven’t played well for a full match yet. The lads need to learn that’s not good enough and we’re not going to make the play-offs if we can’t keep our level of performance up."
Swinton will be without stand off Richard Hawkyard, who failed in his outside chance of a quick recovery from his ankle injury - he is likely to return for the Oldham game next week. That will once more see Chris Hull given a chance.
Should less emphasis be placed on the results of tests and more emphasis on general education for children?
