SHE may have failed in her bid to score as many goals as hero Cristiano Ronaldo, but a Salford school-girl can boast even more medals than the United winger.
Ann-Kathrin Crockett, 11, fell four short of the Portuguese star’s 48-haul, but she softened the blow by winning a treasure-trove of trophies.
The Westbury Girls under-11s striker was the club’s player of the year in the North Valley League and she also received the league’s leading goalscorer award.
Added to that she earned runners up medals in the league and cup competitions, as well as a certificate to mark her passing a training course at Manchester United.
Then she showed she’s a master of all trades as she enjoyed victory in the Westbury Girls annual 10-pin bowling contest.
Dad Kevin said: "One thing is for certain Ann-Kathrin loves her football so much that she will never say she feels like a ‘slave’ to Westbury Girls coach Andy Reece, unlike a one high profile football star.
"She loves her football and has proved to be very good at it.
"We hope she has as good a season next time as this one, though it’s a lot to ask."
