FA competition ties for Salford

SALFORD City have been drawn against Lancaster City, Gresley Rovers and Leigh Genesis or Nantwich in preliminary rounds of FA competitions.
They will visit Lancaster City in the FA Cup on Saturday, August 30, kick-off 3pm, host UniBond Division One South side Gresley Rovers in the FA Trophy on Saturday, October 4, kick-off 3pm, with Stourbridge away awaiting the winners and play at home to Leigh Genesis or Nantwich in the FA Youth Cup on the week starting Monday, September 22.
Salford fans also have a pre-season friendly with FC United to look forward to. On the gate admission for the Moor Lane clash on Wednesday, July 30, kick-off 7.45pm, will cost £5 for adults and £2 for concessions.
Other pre-season friendlies will see Salford visit newly-promoted New Mills and Irlam in mid-July and host Leigh Genesis in early August.
Salford have been back in pre-season training for 10 days and, behind the scenes, committee members and supporters have been working hard on sprucing up Moor Lane.
