Hope-ing to put you in picture over unit

AS the Hands Off Hope campaign continues to gather momentum, readers are being asked to put themselves in the frame and help save the maternity unit at the hospital.
Salford City Council wants locals to send pictures of bouncing babies born at Hope, whether it be themselves, their kids or their kids' kids.
Marketing assistant Diane Markwick said: "Each picture is valuable in carrying the message of how important the maternity services are. It doesn't matter if the photos are of new-born children or fully fledged adults, just as long as they are Hope babies."
The aim is to combine all the photographs into one big postcard which will be attached to a display van.
Simply pop a picture in the post, addressed to: Diane Markwick, Salford City Council, Suite 16, 6th Floor, St James's House, Pendleton Way, Salford, M6 5FW or email to: handsoffhope@salford.gov.uk giving the name and date when the baby was born.
The deadline for pictures is Tuesday, April 18. Anyone wishing to have their photograph returned must ensure that an address is clearly marked on the back of the photograph.
