Hunt for sex pervert

POLICE are hunting for a pervert who indecently assaulted a teenage boy at Eccles shopping centre.

Two teenage boys entered the public toilets in the shopping centre at about 5.20pm on Thursday 22nd August, where they witnessed a man performing an indecent act. As the boys attempted to leave, the man grabbed one of the boys and indecently assaulted him.

The man is described as white, 60-70 years old, approx 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build. He was clean shaven, with white hair and a bald patch on top. He was wearing metal framed glasses, a beige waist length jacket, white flat cap, grey trousers and black sandals.

PC Paul Brooks of Eccles police said: "The boys were left extremely shaken by what happened. This incident occurred during a busy period of the day, and we believe someone must have seen this man entering or leaving the toilets, or maybe other people using those toilets around that time witnessed him acting suspiciously. We are appealing for anyone with any information surrounding this incident to contact us on 0161 856 5324 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
