THE ADVERTISER'S Christmas Tin Appeal is getting off to a flying start - with a little help from the city's rugby aces.
With just over a month to Christmas, we're calling on Salfordians to show us their legendary generosity and donate food to the city's needy.
Salford City Reds star Andy Coley was only too happy to help launch the appeal which brings festive cheer to hundreds of people throughout the city.
Every year, we invite our readers to bring tins to our Eccles office in Church Street which we will then pass on to Salford City Council's social services department.
You have never let us down in the past and we're hoping this year will be better than ever.
