PRAISE for The Advertiser's latest campaign to promote Salford has come from the council's top brass.
Civic leader Bill Hinds told full council the paper should be congratulated for highlighting the good points of the city. " The Advertiser should be commended for their campaign in promoting the city as a great place to live. We agree and will make it even greater."
Cllr Hinds is now a proud recipient of one of the 'Salford, A Great Place To Be - Spread The Word' stickers, which will be going to all Commonwealth Games visitors to the city. You can pick one up from our Eccles office too!
