I think it is appalling that Salford PCT have allowed this to happen, and as for Hazel Blears, as long as she is getting her picture in the paper it doesn't seem to matter what happens to the City of Salford. Does Councillor Merry want to demolish Salford altogether, thus ending the life of a City that was established long before Manchester? There certainly aren't going to be any Salfordians born here anymore.

Its disgusting it the Government and Councils always seem to step on us (the local community) and get their own way in the end. Is it not us the local community that put these people where they are, well if you want to save our wonderful services elect them out, shout up now and shout loud. Having been born and brought up in Eccles and having both my children at Hope Hospital to me it just seems the people who are supposed to be representing us just do what they want when they get elected and just do not listen to the communitiees.
