Hope for maternity services
Emma Fitzgerald8/ 2/2007
THE fight to keep maternity services in Salford has been given fresh hope.
I had my daughter at hope hospital in 2004 as my own local hospital didn't have the facilities to cope with such a premature baby, the staff on the special care baby unit gave my little girl all the care she needed to pull through. The hospital cares for thousands of people all over the country and mum's like me could never thank the staff enough for their care and support through what feels like the darkest hours. Under no circumstances should such an amazing unit be allowed to close. Please keep up the fight to keep salfords maternity services.
