AS the Hands Off Hope campaign continues to gather momentum, readers are being asked to put themselves in the frame and help save the maternity unit at the hospital.

   Be careful folks. the hospital stands on prime land, if we're not careful, we'll have Urban Splash building 'inside out' houses where our hospital is/used to be. The smallest thing and the council will close the whole place - Mr Merry is blaming the Government for trying to close baby unit - 'well he would, wouldn't he'. KEEP HOPE - and give it proper funding
