The people versus
Pamela Welsh1/11/2007
I’VE lived around the UK - from the backwaters near Belfast to cosmopolitan London - and have to say that I’ve never experienced such inefficient public transport as that provided by the GMPTE.
I don’t drive and have never felt any need to, but feel I have been forced behind the wheel by the dire public transport system in Greater Manchester. I wanted to grill Roger Jones, the chair of the GMPTA, on his proposals.
I live on the Salford / Bolton boarder on the main A6. The bus service has gone downhill in the last year to such an extent that there are now no busses direct to Swinton Salford or Manchester. I can go to Liegh or Bolton. Thanks GMPTE!

Congratulations to Pamela Welsh for an excellent interview and article that shows the G.M.P.T.E up for what they really are, arrogant, untrustworthy, self-centred hypocrites. Before they start telling us it's to save the world etc. Let us see them "All" practice what they preach and lead by example.
