EVERY week we're out on the style scene scouting out you fabulous fashionistas. This week Diary Editor Dianne Bourne caught up with stylist
Jessica Ferguson, 24, from the city centre, to find out about her funky look.
How would you describe your style?
At the moment I would say a hippy chick edge, combined with preppy, floral and feminine looks.

Shoes: Topshop, £55

Who is your style icon?
I'm a huge fan of Daphne Guinness.
Name your favourite shops.
In terms of designers, I'm a huge fan of Sonia Rykiel and Betsey Johnson, and in Manchester I like the Chanel boutique, Vivienne Westwood on King Street and I love Zara because they have a lot of high-end influences and, of course, Topshop!
What's your best ever buy?
I got these really quirky three-quarter-length fringe boots from Selfridges.
They were £120 reduced to £85, they're kind of cowgirl-esque.
That's my best buy of the month!
What's your biggest fashion mistake?
I was five years old and my mother let me go out in a tutu with a swimming costume over the top, Minnie Mouse ears and Shirley Temple heels with glittery stars on.
How much do you usually spend on clothes each month?
It varies month to month, but I try to budget £250-300.
What item of clothing can't you live without?
Jeans.
