This week Diary Editor Dianne Bourne caught up with the assistant manager of General Store on Deansgate, Minnie Baldwin, 33, from Salford, to find out about her stylish look.

How would you describe your style?

Girly chic today, but normally I'm quite rocky.

Where did you buy today's outfit and how much did it cost?

Shirt: Ringspun, £60

Waistcoat: Bolongaro&Trevor, £80

Jeans: Mango, £25 (in sale)

Shoes: Topshop, £24

Who is your style icon?

Kate Moss - I love her so much.

Name your favourite shops .

I'm a big fan of Ringspun, and also Miss Sixty, and Diesel do great denim.

What's your best ever buy?

Ugg boots. I love them - I've bought two pairs and they are my best buy ever, you can run around all over the place in them and they're still comfy.

What's your biggest fashion mistake?

A pair of trainers I had. I just think women look awful in trainers.

How much do you usually spend on clothes each month?

£200

What item of clothing can't you live without?

My handbag. You just put everything in there, don't you? I'd be totally lost without it.
