EVERY week we're out on the style scene scouting out you fabulous fashionistas. This week Diary Editor Dianne Bourne quizzed the oh-so-glamorous area sales manager for Ergoline tanning equipment Lisa Walmsley, aged 39, from Bramhall, about her look.

How would you describe your style?
Classic, but with a bit of glitz. I go for simple, elegant looks.

Where did you buy tonight's outfit and how much did it cost?
Earrings: John Lewis, £40
Dress: Patric Casey, £300 in the sale
Shoes: Carvela, £70
Handbag: Selfridges, £50

Who is your style icon?
Elizabeth Hurley, she just coordinates everything really well and looks very slinky and sexy but classy at the same time.

Name your favourite shops.
Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and Miss Sixty.

What's your best ever buy?
A silk brown dress that I can wear for any evening functions and parties, it was from Harvey Nichols - and has turned out to be a real essential.

What's your biggest fashion mistake?
The 80s! Definitely those big 80s hairdos and shoulderpads. That was the most embarrassing time, I'm thinking of hiding the pictures from my sons when they grow up!

How much do you usually spend on clothes each month?
Around £200.

What item of clothing can't you live without?
Jeans - the old faithfuls!
