Where is it?
In the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, Peter Street, Manchester
What's it like?
The Sienna spa is like a lot of hotel spas - downstairs.
But it has a light and airy ambience despite being positioned in the bowels of the building.
Top Treatment:
Ritual Sunsoul sunless tanning treatment. Forget standing starkers in front of a woman pointing a spray gun at you - this is far more refined.
You still have to strip off to paper knickers but with deft positioning and re-positioning of towels by a discreet therapist your modesty remains intact - almost.
Having tried many different fake tanning treatments with varying results (too dark, too light, too patchy, too smelly), this was a revelation.
Perhaps it was because it includes exfoliation (you can never do it as well at home with your loofah as the lady in beauty salon) and an anti ageing body wrap? Whatever the case may be, the end result left a golden glow that looked natural and sun-kissed - not at all orange.
And, the best thing was it didn't leave behind that fusty eau de fake tan smell either!
