Sally drives dozy Rosie out t'moors
Rachel Broady2/ 3/2006
CORONATION STREET Sally's still trying to make
Rosie a boarding school babe but struggling to fund the extreme
form of bullying. Rosie keeps her head down, thinking her mam is
full of blather, but Sally pipes up that she'll pay owt to keep her
daughter away from Craig. It ends up with mad Sally driving dozy
Rosie into Yorkshire on a nail-biting "you'll do as you're told or
else" trip. Sally should pay Craig off instead. The price of a new
pair of Goth boots should do it.
Meanwhile, Cilla utters her first sensible words, vowing to divorce
Les. Her husband sets up home in his cab (here's hoping he doesn't
have a washing line) and Kirk and Chesney smuggle out food. When he
offers to "crawl across the cobbles" to win Cilla back, she takes
him literally.
Ashley is panic-stricken because Dr Matt wants access to Joshua. He
lashes out at all around him and that's quite a scary thing to do
when you're a butcher.
And Gail receives a condolence card from Richard Hillman. It's not
pitying her for the children she's stuck with but marking the
anniversary of his death. If it's not David sending them then it
has to be Bethany!
EMMERDALE After finding a cryptic poem Chas heads
out to the woods and finds a box containing a camcorder showing
Carl proposing. Firstly, a limerick would be cryptic to our Chas
and, secondly, she'll make him wing walk before she'll say yes. And
he does, with Alice.
Ivan turns to Nicola for support when Paul has another one of his
dramas. But she has one of her dramas, resulting in her waiting for
him wearing only saucy underwear. He's bound to ask where she got
them and say whether the colour suits her or not but she makes it
look like he took advantage of her.
Matthew is upset that he can't compete with multi-millionaire
Alasdair for Sadie's attention, Scott regrets shopping Dawn to the
Benefit Fraud Office and Viv is still going on about getting
pregnant.
EASTENDERS Sonia and Naomi grow closer while
Martin gets drunk at Garry's party. But the day after the night
before and the girls are feeling tense. until Sonia reveals her
true feelings.
Cripes, David Addison and Maddie Hayes got it together quicker in
Moonlighting.
