Soapbox: Who's been abducted on the Street?
by Rachel Broady21/ 7/2005
CORONATION STREET Steve's up for abduction when
he foolishly listens to Tracy tell him that Amy would love a visit
to the airport to watch the planes, while handing him a bag
supposedly full of nappies. How gullible is that man? He doesn't
realise what's going on until the handcuffs are locking and the
police are wondering why he has a bag packed with Amy's clothes and
passport.
And the weakness of Roy and Hayley is obvious when they stand back
letting Tracy abuse Steve because they're scared she'll stop them
from seeing Amy. If people had been that cruel to you Hayley you
wouldn't be the happy transsexual you are today!
But things could look up at work for Steve because Lloyd may want
to buy Dev's share of Streetcars but Eileen finds his plans very
funny.
And there're more dull shenanigans as Ashley plans to fight his
doppelganger and as Sean tries to secure a date with the vet. He
should just book an appointment.
EMMERDALE Robert sinks to new depths when he
spikes Andy's drink in the Woolpack and the lad gets breathalysed
on the way home. It seems he'll happily stab his brother in the
back for a backhander from Jimmy because Katie sent his love rival
a letter.
Events take a turn for the worse when Cain, Jimmy and Robert plan
to torch Andy's barn but when he wakes decide to beat him up
instead. Daz comes to the rescue and stabs Jimmy with a
pitchfork.
As Jimmy is stitched up on the vet's table by Max, Robert
disappears knowing Jack is on the warpath.
Sam Dingle is a father-to-be. When he overhears Zak questioning his
parenting abilities it plunges him into a depression but it's the
harsh words from Cain that convince him to marry Alice and live in
Emmerdale. That'd be enough to have most people running away in
fear.
EASTENDERS Sharon is engaged to Dennis but is
ringless. Then she remembers how Den threw Angie's wedding ring on
to a roof and lo and behold it's yet another tale of all our
yesterday's guv'nor.
