KANYE West – he’s a world famous rap star, he’s a clothes designer, and now it seems, he’s trying his hand at being an author. Recently, the American singer announced he was going to be publishing his first book.
The title in question will be a self-help book, which frankly is no surprise as West has never been short of self-confidence.
He’s talked the talk, and for the most part, has delivered some great music to match.
West’s three albums to date have cemented his status as hip-hop’s own mad musical scientist; a man who shuns rap music’s predominantly macho audience, in order to make electrifying pop music which isn’t afraid to absorb influences like electro, the avante garde and even hippyish philosophy.
Nobody likes a clever-clogs know-it-all, but frankly, Kanye West seems too good to resist.
